RumiUma Boutique Hotel

Very good location, like 10 minutes walking from main square Cusco, the hotel is small but very well designed, bed was comfortable and Miss. Erika make you feel as in home immediately you arrive. Coca tea as welcome drink and good talk. Room was very spacious and the heater was very good!

I wish I could have more basic amenities as you are expecting to get to a hotel, as shampoo (no shampoo at all), a hand towel to dry your hands (no hand towel) not high expectations but thoughtful amenities.. I I have found a lot of big, big hairs in the only towel that I had avaliable :(, I don't like to complaint but I hope they improve.

The beds were big and comfortable, the water was warm, and Erika at the reception was truly lovely. She was attentive, helpful, and acknowledged all my concerns, which I greatly appreciated.

My stay was disappointing overall. At check-in, our room was supposed to be ready at 12:00, but we didn’t receive it until 16:00, which unfortunately disrupted my day’s plans. The walls and ceiling offered little soundproofing, so it was easy to hear noise from other rooms. The bathroom felt very basic and not quite up to typical hotel standards. Breakfast was the same every day only bread and eggs with no variety.

Buena ubicación, suficientemente cerca del centro como para ir caminando y sin pendientes marcadas. Acceso sencillo al comedor para tomar mate o café sin cargo. Limpieza del lugar.

Un poco descoordinadas las interacciones con la administración. Temas simples como el desayuno o la boleta de pago se podían complicar un poco. El techo de la habitación era extremadamente delgado, todo el día se escuchaban los pasos (recomendable tapones para dormir) y -no es culpa del hotel- los vecinos de cuarto eran exageradamente ruidosos y vociferantes (y las paredes muy delgadas). Detalle, el agua caliente de la ducha sale caliente 5 minutos y luego (siempre) durante un minuto sale excesivamente fría y luego vuelve a estar caliente. Llega a ser molestoso pero una vez conocido, se supera el problema.

Erica was super nice and helpful, she made sure that we had everything that we needed, we felt like home there. She also prepared us breakfast to go on the days when we had tours or made as great fried eggs. We really felt welcome there. On request she gave us additional blankets. Location was very good, walking distance to city center.

Room was badly isolated, so it was quite cold during the night. Water in the shower was hot only one of 5 days we stayed there.

Rumi Uma is located perfectly, just outside the historic centre, so it is great for exploring Cusco. Classic Peruvian Breakfast is included (bread, butter, jam, sometimes cheese or avocade too, tea and papaya juice) and served at a cute little table in the front room. Erika, the lady in charge is the cutest and takes good care of you! For me it was the perfect place to stay a week and feel right at home. I would definitely go there again!
