GBBeautiful location and amazing wildlife. Shepherds hut was warm and cozy and very peaceful. Loved listening and watching the birds. Ideal place to relax and unwind. Short walk or drive to Holt country park
Nothing we didn’t like although could have done with a frying pan in the property
GBSurroundings are lovely and the hosts were helpful and friendly. The hut had everything we needed including a shower with good water pressure, stove and sink. Lovely log burner which kept us nice and cosy in the evening and a comfy bed with plenty of layers if you got a bit chilly at night (which we didn’t). Was lovely to have a fire pit and BBQ outside to enjoy the views with.
The hut we stayed in was on a slope and the chairs and picnic table outside hadn’t been sunk it so we’re not level. Made it a little uncomfortable to sit on for longer periods of time.
GBGBRelaxing and tranquil location, lovely accommodation next to a lake, where you can enjoy watching lots of nature. Also close to Holt if you wish to mingle with other humans with a Market day on 1st Sunday of each month. Had a couple of queries with the accommodation, which were answered promptly.
Going home
GBVery pretty location, cabin was lovely and done to a high standard. It had everything that you could need inside and very clean. Nice touches with fire wood and coal for the bbq. In a great area close to holt town and beaches. Would definitely stay again.
Just some constructive feedback but wouldn’t put us off staying again, shower could of been designed better as did end up leaking and could do with a curtain across the door in my opinion as felt very on show getting dressed.

Only the signal internet not good but yes understand it’s woods so yeah .
GBGBThe location was stunning, and perfect for local sight seeing.
The property was perfect for a couple of nights, we did find that it could have been a little cleaner and there were a lot of cobwebs around the bed area. We were also provided wood for the wood burner, but unfortunately the logs had been cut too large and we could not get them in the stove. But this didn’t spoil a lovely break away, we stopped and picked up some wood from the shops. The staff were excellent through out the stay and with our booking.
