GBThe location is amazing. The hut was clean and had everything we needed. Nigel (site manager) was very caring and the self check-in was straight forward.
The hut windows do not open which makes the air circulation limited as the only opening is the stable style door.

Strong septic tank smell wafting in the hut when door was open and in the seating area outside.

Towels bit hard
GBWe liked the location of the property and the additional touches such as charcoal and wood. The assistance retrieving the key was greatly appreciated.
Our main issue was the bird scarer that went of during daylight hours my dog really didn’t like it we had chosen the location with her in mind. It made getting her out of the car in to property and the reverse very challenging.
GBAbsolutely stunning setting. So quiet and peaceful, apart from the odd bird scarer in the farmers fields. Loved the little shepherds hut which had everything we needed! The shower was so good!! Also the firepit and BBQ which were both supplied and wood and charcoal for 1 night! Would 100% recommend and will be returning! Also to note that Holt is 5mins up the road with lovely pubs and restaurants. Also there's a bugens with everything you could want!
As before, the bird scarers going off in the farmers fields were very loud, but you soon got used to them The only other point I would make, is for fly spray or fly strips in the shepherds hut, as we were woken by them landing on us! Again, this is a very minor detail and expected in the months. Probably just take my own spray strips next time

Lovely site, with new shepherds huts and yurts being adds to the site.. work is ongoing but done respectfully. Very peaceful with no WiFi, no phone signal or TV.. which was a plus, sat into the night by the fire pit talking playing cards etc.
