Serene Haven Apartment

I like the location!

What I didn’t like about this property? First I didn’t like how they were treated us! They will do nothing to make you stay comfortable. The bedding is a big part of the comfort, but that was a huge factor! The duvet was old like a rug and didn’t fit to the mix much duvet cover, it was short and wide, not a proper size! I asked the manager to replace it but they didn’t! They explained it to me it is a standard size for the apartment and they don’t have a replacement for me! The mattress was also very uncomfortable! The pillows were too low, there were extra pillows but no pillowcases. I asked for an extra but they were charging €2.5 each. We had to go and buy a pillowcase for the second pillow! The second morning I asked for an email where I can send my complains, I fined dirt under the mattress protector and I made a video of it. I took it off because it was placed upside down, the rubbery side was on the top and it was too slippery! So on the third day they gave me an email I sent them the complains the same day, the response was it hard to say because the check in was like 2 days ago hard to say if that was like that or I made it messy!? They were just repeating themselves over and over like they are very sorry but they don’t have any answers for me everything is standard and they don’t have a replacement for me! We stayed 16 nights in central Budapest and they treated us like trash! I don’t recommend this apartment for anyone! One night there was a real fight inside the neighbours apartment the man was beating the woman she was just shouted for help! I contacted the manager to let them know what happened, but his response was next time you call the police! I was really scared!

Exactly as we expected. Very clean and modern with everything you needed for a home from home experience. The shower was superb. Getting in was easy. The metro and trams are very nearby. Can't fault them for going the extra mile to make it good.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable but we solved this by turning it into a sofa bed which was perfect to lounge in front of the big TV.

It was very clean. Nice apartment with beautifull bathroom. Great instructions for check-in. Free capsuls for coffee was really suprise. We loved the place. We parked car in Corvin mall garage, it was 24€ for the day and just 5 minute walk to apartment.

The sofa was not so comfortable. Loud music on saturday to 12pm. Even though we recommend the place.

🔑It was a bit confusing which key box to choose, since there was no mention of the name Serene Haven Apartment on it nor in the check-in instructions. 🔒 The kitchen could have had more things such as cooking oil, parchment paper

Very good

We loved the location, cleanliness, easy self check-in, positive and prompt communication of staff. Apartment has everything you may need during a stay, it is the same as photographs and all was clean. The neighborhood was quite and calm, so it is a perfect match when you need to rest. Great value for the price, we would definitely pick the same apartment if we visit Budapest again!
