I arrived straight to door with use of google maps. Lovely, friendly and warm reception from Philip. Huge and cosy, beautiful and traditional, farmhouse bedroom. I felt at home straight away. Gorgeous en-suite bathroom and shower room was a welcomed addition. Such attention to detail in the property and the bedroom I was in! Some points:- High quality bed linen, accessories, magazines and books and decor. I stayed over one night due to work business however wished I could’ve stayed in the big bed for a long lie ….maybe all day as it was so comfortable. Top notch Agar made breakfast was so delicious and generous! Will definitely return for a family holiday break next time. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10 for sure!

Breakfast was delicious; it reminded one how rarely you have the traditional English breakfast where every ingredient is perfect, down to the mushrooms - and served in a pretty dining room. But in addition to that, Tibouche and Philip heroically accommodated our large family gathering aged from 3 to 84, including those staying elsewhere, with their odd dietary requirements, and gave a delightful dinner party for 14 with curry, salmon, strawberries … it was a wonderful family overnight which our hosts (including Paddy the dog) enabled with good humour and warmth.

Although the bathrooms are designated for private use, in this en suite world, one always feels a little unsettled to have a physically separate bathroom not next door. However - our bathroom was palatial, the bedrooms are huge & beautifully proportioned - I couldn’t bear to see them turned into corporate cubicles. So the price of a little bathroom wander was worth paying. Plus dressing gowns are supplied…

Very welcoming hosts! Comfortable and quiet-lovely!

The house is lovely. Our room was big and the only en suite I believe. We were visiting Euston Hall which was literally down the road so the location was perfect. Tibouche and Philip were excellent hosts. We had supper which was extra, and a very good breakfast.
