Seclusion

The house is beautifully built and decorated, with much attention to detail, and wonderfully quiet. There is a nice little beach not 5 minutes walk from the house. The little swimming pool is great for watching the sunset and magnificent sea view. The kitchen is well equipped. Katerina is an excellent, friendly hostess. She met us at the house when we arrived, left us some local delicacies to eat and called us halfway through our stay to make sure we didn't need anything.

This was a fabulous holiday , the villa as a unique position near to nothing..you need a vehicle if you want to stay in villa Lakka but if you are searching a quite place with silence fantastic view only the sound of the sea and a high standard location this is the place that I suggest. And Katarina,the owner ,is simply fantastic, always available when we’ve needed. I recommend this place.

Een huis midden in de natuur met een prachtig uitzicht op Skopelos, mooie terrassen, een zwembad en de nabijheid van een bijna privé-strand (2 minuten lopen). Het huis is schoon en is uitgerust met allerlei voorzieningen. De communicatie met de verhuurster was perfect. We werden getrakteerd op diverse (zelf gemaakte) lekkernijen en groente en fruit van eigen land. Het zwembad is niet heel groot maar biedt verkoeling. Een airconditioning ontbreekt, maar dat werd voldoende goed gemaakt door de beschikbare ventilatoren (toen wij er waren was het 32 graden). Wij houden van katten en die bezochten ons ook (met kitten). Ook het dagelijks voorbij trekken en terugkomst van geiten en bokken is een belevenis. Die komen zelfs naar het strand. In de baai kun je heel mooi snorkelen.

Eigenlijk was het perfect, maar je moet rekening houden met een 20 minuten durende rit op een onverharde weg. Wij hadden geen 4x4 maar een nieuwe Opel Corsa tot onze beschikking, dus wij reden heel rustig en genoten van de omgeving. Een 4x4 (bijvoorbeeld een Suzuki Jimny) is aan te bevelen.

Nous avons apprécié le calme au milieu de la nature, loin du tumulte des animations estivales. Les propriétaires sont à tout instant à votre disposition et serviables. C’était l’endroit rêvé pour passer des vacances en famille au calme.

This is a magical place! The quiet is unbeatable. You only hear the sound of the sea waves and the goats passing by. The house is beautifully decorated, with a terrace looking to the sea and sunset. There is a barbecue and a small private pool. Bonus for the kids: lovely house cats.

The price to pay for this amazingly pretty and quiet location is a 15-20 minutes dirt road - easily feasible with a small Micra though. We recommend getting the groceries done before getting to the house. It is still 100% worth it!

Getting there requires a 15-minute drive on an unpaved road, but that's part of the charm—it ensures you're well away from the crowds and truly surrounded by peace and quiet. Once you arrive, the sense of isolation becomes a gift. A special mention must go to the host, whose kindness and attentiveness made our stay even more memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable, providing helpful tips and always being just a message away if needed. If you're searching for authenticity, privacy, and genuine Greek hospitality, Villa Lakka is an unforgettable choice.

La villa è splendida, rinnovata da pochissimo, arredata con molto buon gusto e funzionalità. Ha una vista mozzafiato sul tramonto più bello dell'isola e di notte si vede la città di skopelos illuminata. Piscina perfetta, pergola e cucina all'aperto davvero eccezionali. A pochi passi dalla casa c'è una piccola spiaggia paradisiaca. Il valore aggiunto è la signora Katerina, che è gentilissima! Ha insistito per cambiare lenzuola ed asciugamani a metà del nostro soggiorno e ci ha fatto una graditissima sorpresa sia durante la nostra permanenza che al momento di salutarci e ci ha esortati ad utilizzare lo splendido BBQ , dotato di tutti i comfort. Una piccola difficoltà della villa è la strada: il lato ovest dell'isola di Alonissos ha strade non asfaltate e anche Villa Lakka si raggiunge con una decina di minuti di sterrato: noi abbiamo affittato un piccolo fuori-strada e questo non ha rappresentato un problema. L'isola di alonissos non offre molte scelte per la sera quindi una splendida accomodation come Villa Lakka può davvero fare la differenza..
