"I’d recommend this home stay to families looking to book two private rooms next to eachother."

We had a fantastic time visiting the backwaters and at the home stay. For us it was perfect because the two rooms which were at the top of the main house were quiet and peaceful and get very private. The set up worked well for two adults and two children.

Our stay was really great. We enjoyed everything: the quiet house in the middle of the dschungle, the clean and wide room with the large terrace, the excellent food with fine fresh fish, the perfect service and the totally kind and always helpful landlady and lord. We spent the best and relaxing days of our Indian trip there. It was amazing. Gisela and Gerhard from Germany

Panakkattu Homestay is a paradise within a paradise. Our stay here was wonderful. The hosts are a lovely couple who will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We always felt very welcome. The room was clean (spotless!) and spacious. The terrace is the perfect space to relax while reading a book and watch the monsoon rains fall. The home-made food that they served us was by far the best food I've had in Kerala. Simply delicious

Warm welcome with welcome drink, friendly owner, home made food was good. Well maintained rooms, too spacious, clean and easily accomodated for big family too. We also enjoyed a beautiful nature around a homestay. Recommend to everyone.
