Robinson Medvidina Bay

We had a very warm and frendly welcome by the host, Monia. Also, she and her husband Ivan shopped for us some groceries and brought them to our place, which is absolutely exceptional, because the road to the place is not something one would want to experience daily. The location is magical, very few people, beautiful small beaches in the bays, we could walk around or use small boats that were at our disposal. The apartment felt very homey and the balcony with the view over the sea was absolutely perfect. It was definitely the most beautiful place at the sea we ever stayed at.

While the location is absolutely marvelous and we were very grateful for the hosts' approach, the apartment itself was not that great. First and foremost, we came at the end of July when the temperatures were extreme even at night, and the place had no AC whatsoever. Besides, the apartment was on the top (third?) floor of the house and our room was just under the roof, which made it so hot during night that we couldn't sleep. I would wake up several times at night just covered in sweat. Having only roof windows, it was also difficult to ventilate. Also, the shower had very weak waterflow, maybe it was the water pressure being on the top floor or the shower just needs renovation, but it didn't feel like taking a proper shower at all. Overall, compared to the other apartment in Omiš we just came from, this one was much more expensive and much less satisfactory, so I would say you are paying for the location with all its beauty and privacy, which feels indeed luxurious.
