The view from the deluxe family mountain room was incredible and its a peaceful escape from the city. The shower room was nice and the room was a good size.

So many rats got into our rooms while we were sleeping and left rat droppings everywhere, there were several cracks and holes at the base of the tent and by the door that allowed them to get into the tent which could have been rectified by the resort but hadn't been. Staff didn't clean our room at all for the three nights we were there. For the price of the room, it felt like it should be should be more of a resort with the rooms cleaned daily but instead it was more like a self catering room that you were supposed to clean. A lot of the stalls and shops on site were also shut while we were there and there were not many activities on offer which made it quiet with not much to do.

A great location for views of the mountain and fresh air in natural surroundings. The breakfast buffet includes a variety of options both Western and Asian. Family friendly place with responsive, helpful staff.

This place is exceptional. One of the truly remarkable locations in Cambodia. Quiet and little known. I fear for its future as it needs visitors but inevitably this will change the quiet beauty of Kirirom.

Unclear what the developers’ vision for the resort is. But currently it is wonderful.

the serenity is superb. The room design was wonderful. The surroundings and walk area were really good. Lot to enjoy and to have fun.

Breakfast does not have much of vegetarian options. Probably need to think of having more vegetarian options. Also google map shows one location but it goes further to reach the spot.

The location is absolutely stunning — perched on top of a mountain with breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets. The tent design was unique and well thought out, with two separate bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. We were pleasantly surprised to find air conditioning in the bedrooms, which made the stay more comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely tried their best to make guests feel welcome. When the resort is busy, the breakfast buffet is excellent — varied and delicious.

However, during our second night stay, there were only a few guests, and breakfast switched to à la carte. Unfortunately, most items from the menu were unavailable, and what was offered was extremely limited. Since we’re not big fans of the local-style breakfast options, we ended up not having a proper meal in the morning at all. This significantly affected our overall impression. One night, a rat managed to get into our tent and stole a pair of socks from an open suitcase — it also badly chewed a pair of pants, making them unusable. Ants were also a constant problem — we found them on the beds, walls, and throughout the tent. A major issue was the mold on the ceilings in both bedrooms, which came with a very strong and unpleasant smell. This made it difficult to fully relax, especially at night. Evenings were sometimes loud, with music playing and noise from neighboring guests disrupting the peace. While we truly appreciated the beauty of the setting and the efforts of the staff, the lack of a proper breakfast, pest issues, and mold unfortunately left us disappointed after what could have been a very memorable stay.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

Overpriced especially during peak periods

The buffet breakfast was excellent. It set us up for the whole day! Unfortunately, on the last morning, there was only an a la carte service, and we had to pay a little bit more, possibly because there were not enough people staying there. The location was wonderful and was the reason why we booked in the first place. The staff checked our room before we departed and returned a T-shirt that had dropped down outside off the railing. This was much appreciated!

There was a bit of rubbish lying around which we felt a more assiduously trained staff would have picked up. The chalets were very close together, but we were not really disturbed by any noise, probably because we were there midweek and occupancy seemed relatively low. Nevertheless, I think the resort should consider a 'curfew' from, say, 11 p.m. We would have liked to have had the option of opening a window at night and using the fan, (which was too strong anyway), instead of sleeping with the air conditioning on, (which is rather stuffy).
