Cedar Cabin

The cabin is in the front garden of the house. I have one just like it home, but a bit smaller. It's ideal for an overnight stay and have everything you need. The coffee machine was a nice touch and the wifi was good too.

Very clean and well arranged

There were no toiletries

Warm and comfortable. Clean and really nicely furnished.

The only thing I would have appreciated is some milk in the fridge 🙂

Great little private place. Perfect for the solo traveller like myself. Everything you need really for the one night.

Bed was too soft for my personal preference. Bit apart from that it was great.

We were visiting family in the area the cabin was to a very high quality It was very peaceful and we were very impressed with the accommodation.

The only negative was if staying there for 3 plus day's there was no washing up facilities.

Good for me. Good for solo or couple. Quiet place.

Not to happy with check in time though. 17:00 it's late. Apart from that great place.

Nothing to be honest

Difficult to find, not enough info, after dark it’s on an unlit narrow lane , I spent over half an hour stopping at people’s driveways trying to find a house name , you need a torch with you. I re contacted the owners who came down their drive with a torch so that I could find their driveway, I was greeted and shown where to park , which was behind the Cabin, it was raining I was left to it, there was no lights at the front of the Cabin I had to use my phone light to try and find the lock box, the decking at the front was slippery with rain and leaves and very dark, it took me ages to locate the key box, why on earth the person who came down the drive with a torch didn’t offer his assistance god only knows, eventually the light on the front of the Cabin came on on a timer switch, my checking time was correct so they were expecting me. When I got in to the Cabin, there was no heating on, it felt cold damp and un inviting and I was soaking wet. At that I when back to my car and found a Hotel nearby, I was not happy with any of it, I requested a refund from the owner, and also complained to booking .com, I.d more chance of winning the lottery, I’ve been a “genius” customer of Booking .com for years, this place might be ok in the summer, but on a dark wet Autumn evening, it wasn’t for me!!!
