Chic Coastal Apartment

Fairly large ground floor flat, about 635 square feet reportedly though the high ceilings make it feel larger. The sitting room is particularly spacious. You can see the sea from some of the windows. The seafront is literally at the end of the road. Dining room table which you don’t always get in holiday rentals. Dishwasher. Two tables outside if it’s sunny. Sainsbury's is about 15 minutes walk away, the rail station less than that. Parking wasn’t a problem in October/November, it was quiet and peaceful, though you need a separate parking permit for every day you’re there, and in July/August I gather it’s a lot busier. The host was friendly and helpful, and left what’s sometimes called a welcome pack.

Honestly, not a lot - this was one of the best holiday rentals I’ve been in. You need to finish showering before 9pm as there’s a bedroom on the other side of the partition wall. The bathroom fan appears ineffective though to be fair in many properties the fan doesn't appear to work at all. The chairs won’t be to everyone’s taste, and the yellow sofa could probably stand being replaced next time funds allow. You do sometimes hear people moving around in the flat upstairs, though that’s not unusual in holiday flats. The heating repeatedly turned itself to snowflake i.e. off, though that’s typical for this type of heating control which isn’t unusual in holiday rentals. Though there is a washer/drier, the drying part of its function appeared ineffective, and to be fair drying facilities in holiday rentals (other than drying racks) are unusual. I managed to cut my leg falling over the very low glass coffee table, but let’s put that down as just me.

Self catering but basic supplies provided, great location for beach

Great quiet location, good sea views from the property. Easy parking near property with guest parking permits. Apartment was very clean on arrival and great to have a few supplies provided. Everything you needed for a stay away, very comfy bed. Great communication from the host from booking to arrival. This was a gem of a find and will certainly stay again.

房间宽敞明亮干净舒适，外面还有个小花园，天气好的时候坐在外面非常惬意。房子里海边非常近，从屋里就能看到海边。房主人非常nice。在厨房准备的厨具和调料很齐全，甚至还准备了面包鸡蛋牛奶水果，完全足够早饭的需要，真的很棒，这是我碰到的第一家准备这么多的民宿。浴室也很大，热水很好，还有准备了晾衣架。客厅里的沙发床也很舒服。能感觉到房主是从住着舒适出发去准备所有东西的。

Beautiful seafront apartment. Owner extremely kind & thoughtful.

Rarely are places as good as the description or as the reviews say they are but this was. The apartment was much larger than we expected and had lovely views of the sea. There is a nice big kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven with hobb, fridge freezer, toaster and microwave. Lovely to have extras left for us such as milk, butter and eggs as well as a good supply of cleaning and cooking essentials. The apartment is well decorated to a high standard and all cooking, crockery etc is of a good quality. The bed was really comfortable and again the bedding etc is of a good quality. The host was really helpful and answered all our questions quickly. Although the parking is on the street we had no problem with finding a space right outside. The position of the flat is first class , very close to the sea and local amenities. We loved everything about it.

If we were being really picky, a larger TV would be good. The lounge is so big it's quite hard to watch the TV from the sofa. That said it really wasn't a problem and we will definitely return.

This was a really fabulous little apartment right next to the sea. It was a lovely touch to supply the basics for us. Very quiet and close to walk in to bexhill town. Will definitely be back.
