Being able to get in a spa in the morning with no one else around, but us is just a transcendent experience. The hosts were especially accommodating. I can’t imagine a better view from the living room or bedroom in Lake taupo.

The oven was very slow to reach temperature. A nonstick frying pan for an egg or an omelette in the morning would’ve been appreciated. A small spice cabinet with some oil, a few condiments that you don’t want to go in by when you just need a little bit would’ve helped.

The place was clean, cosy, warm and comfortable.

The car park number 1 is difficult to go in if the rest of the car is parked. The entrance was pretty dark at night, took us some time to park and find the key box
