Great location. Great views. The property has everything you need.

The views were spectacular and it was very well organised - we had everything we needed. WE especially liked the outdoor space with sun loungers.

We’ve had a lovely stay here and saw highs of 27 degrees then torrential rain and lows of 15 degrees over the week! The Lookout lives up to its name for sure! We’ve loved the glorious views and relative privacy of the terrace … it is an attached property but we didn’t hear any noise transference The apartment is a lovely calm oasis and we’ve juggled working, househunting and exploring! Super comfy bed and pillows each night with crisp white bedding and soft towels for the shower have been great! Squidgy sofa perfect for the end of day glass of vino!! Wedmore has loads to keep you busy, only a 10min walk away and loads of drinking and eating options : best coffee at the Bluebird cafe, gluten free pizza at The Swan, yummy food at The George and a proper boozer at The New Inn. Dinner in Cheddar at the award winning Zen Thai was fab but you need to book. The walk home up Mutton Lane seems challenging on day 1 but you soon get used to it!! Wi-Fi is plenty strong enough for work Teams calls and internet browsing

Not a lot to dislike. House manual would be helpful. In the summer fans may be needed as it gets pretty hot in there. The walk back up from Wedmore is not for the faint hearted so be aware!

The hosts sent us all the relevant information prior to our arrival, which made it really easy to gain access to the property. The lock box was easy to operate. The accommodation was exactly what we expected. It had some beautiful finishing touches, and the views... Wow!! Such a great place to spend some relaxing time taking in the scenery. It was close to amenities, with some beautiful little shops around the corner within easy walking distance.

The property was lovely; we couldn't fault it. I was a little disheartened shortly after our arrival, my partner had gone out, so I was home alone with the dog, when I turned around to find workmen entering the private back garden, carrying materials through to their property, which was next door. It was an unexpected shock that was unwelcome. It set the dog off barking too. I contacted the hosts, who apologised and said he thought that because our car was not there, we had both gone out. I asked at this point if they had any work that was being carried out during the time of our stay, which he replied no. Unfortunately, there was, and it continued right through our break, which spoiled it somewhat. The initial few days break away that were meant to be restful ended up being consumed by banging and drilling from 8am every morning. In respect of this, if we had known about the work that was being carried out during our stay, we wouldn't have booked. Other than that, we couldn't fault it.

The room was quiet and warm, did like the Nest thermostat, the water pressure in the shower is good. the beds are comfortable and we loved the layout of the kitchen/main room good use of space. I wish the weather was warmer because we would have made good use of the outside space as well (alas it was April) that being said, the view and the big windows are amazing and a real plus point, watching sunrise and sunset was better than the phone :-)

I’m 99.9% sure that there are limitations on the internet due o the location, it was a little slow, however was able to stream a 720p movie using it. This is a VERY personal thing.. If you want to post a few pics, facebook and the like the internet is perfect. An observation, not a critic of the hosts of the place, Wedmore is quiet, I would walk the dog round the town around 8 on a Fri/Sat/Sun/Monday and it was empty. Sunday nothing is open, and what is shuts at 4pm. Personally not a problem, this might be for some.. (the New Inn at the bottom of the hill, go there)

The lookout was stunning, credit when it's due it was clean and comfy.

There was no introduction email from the host giving us any details on the weekend, how to enter the property, etc. We followed every instruction given by " Booking.com" the one in question being the leaving time of 11am. We had a knock at the door about 10.10 am from the host, being quite abrupt telling us the cleaner was ready to come in. After explaining that the time we were given to leave was 11am, all my partner and I received from that moment on was an uncomfortable attitude from the host. We left the lookout in an unnecessary rush but still managed to leave it absolutely spotless, just as we found it. We did absolutely nothing wrong, but still both felt a little letdown on our trip away. We should not have been brought into a dispute that was between the host and booking.com. We will not be returning.

Lovely village and good location.

Low ceiling in the bedroom, I hit my head a few times .

Brilliant location overlooking the levels, well appointed flat with great facilities.
