The cabin was quiet and located in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the scenery as we drove from Furano. It was wonderful to be able to better experience what it might be like to be in the countryside with people who lived there. The hosts were easy-going and extremely easy to reach with questions and concerns. Dinner at their neighboring restaurant was fabulous and an experience all to itself. We would love to come back for another stay!

"Countryside living close to Furano"

The Bears House was an amazing place to stay for skiing in Furano. 20 minutes from the resort, it lets you stay out of the city in the countryside, but you re close enough to get groceries or dinner in town. Eating at the restaurant next door that Dan and Aya run was a highlight of our groups entire trip to Hokkaido. The hosts removed all snow and provided an amazing place for a ski trip destination.

There was nothing about this hostel I did not like.

"Fantastic stay at the bear’s house"

The house had everything we needed and was conveniently located in a beautiful setting at a short driving distance from several ski resorts. Dan was a fantastic and very helpful host!
