Central Hotellet Tierp

Great Hotel in the center of Tierp. Easy to get to and great location for walking around the town. Staff was very friendly and helpful with everything.

Overall very comfortable, quiet, clean and tidy. Nice interior. Good breakfast and friendly staff🙂 Thank you very much! Will come back,!

Hotel was clean and in a good state of repair

From the website it was not apparent that there was no bar or restaurant which meant that there were no evening meals available - a major shortcoming for a hotel. On arrival the front door was locked despite the fact that I had advised them of my arrival time (at the hotel's request). I telephoned the number on the door but there was no response. Fortunately the owners daughter happened to be passing and let me in.

A very nice family owned hotel .. and very welcoming Recently constructed, in an old gingerbread biscuit factory ... the decor is fresh and stylish .. The bedroom corridor is lined with framed B&W photos of stars of the golden age of the silver screen The hotel serves an excellent breakfast each morning, with beautiful crispy bacon and scrambled eggs ... Plus, there's the usual / typical selection of a Continental style breakfast, with plenty of choice and fresh fruit And there's also the option to order freshly cooked soft boiled eggs ..

We were very surprised to discover that despite the very generously proportioned double bedroom and ensuite bathroom .. there's a total lack of storage space .. There are no shelves or wardrobe for clothes .. just the bedroom and bathroom window sills .. and a table with a kettle and coffee / tea making facilities ... and just a very small coat rack in the corner of the room .. So, we ended up living out of our suitcases for a week ... Also, there were no window catches, so we couldn't open the window .. and therefore, we were reliant on the centrally controlled air conditioning .. However, it would be nice to have the option to have fresh air when necessary... The view from the bedroom window overlooked a pitched roof for the ground floor of the building .. but not unpleasant ... with a view of gardens and trees in the distance

The automatic shower is perhaps not ideal

So nice and fresh! Loved the features and the room was fantastic!
