Continental breakfast is provided for the first day of your stay Just to give you some general feedback, to accommodate longer stays, you should provide some indication of washing facilities in the town.

Hosts invisible - Have we lost the personal touch even in Ireland? Only the dog welcomed us! I know I'm from an older generation....

Great facilities very clean and the breakfast supplies are a fantastic idea and very welcome. Also it is a dog friendly property which is an added bonus.

Chris and Colette left items for breakfast in the kitchen. The apartment looked new with modern countertops and shower, and large windows on one large wall in the living area. It's about 1 miles from the center of town making it an ideal location.

The kitchen area is a bit small. If you have no interest in cooking or only wish to prepare a small breakfast, it will suit your needs.

The Hazelwood Holiday Home is ideal for 1-2 nights. The home is tiny, but it is equipped with everything you might need for your stay - a small kitchenette with a microwave/convection oven, air fryer, fridge, and hot plate (if you wish to cook). The small living room has a flatscreen TV, and you have access to the backyard with a small patio set for 2.

In terms of some of the other things that are important for future visitors. The back garden is a shared space with the owners of the property. So you will have people in the backyard, although they have a quarter fence to delineate the spaces---it does not provide adequate privacy if you envision you will be completely alone in your apartment. The owners of the home next door have 4 small children who regularly play in the garden (as they should!). They are lovely little darlings, and they weren't a bother, but you should know that there will be little ones playing outside, and sometimes that means they will wander to your side. The dog, Layla, is absolutely adorable and very friendly. We enjoyed saying hello everyday!  We were instructed to check-out at 10AM, although the booking.com website and their own guide states check out at 11AM.

The property is a small bungalow attached to a large family home. We followed the instructions and found it without any difficulty. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the items left for breakfast. We had our dog with us and she just loved meeting the owners dog (as did we!!). We did not meet Chris and Colette during our stay but communication from them was excellent. All in all a very comfortable stay in Sligo!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Location is good. Bed very comfy. Everything nice and clean inside. Family vibes. Dog friendly. We didn’t bring ours but owner’s dog was friendly!

Perhaps owners need to update description to include there is WiFi and that kitchenette has air fryer and small hot plate? These were useful additions we didn’t know about before coming. Would have liked a more enclosed private garden space as in fenced off area just for the rental space. Owners children were lovely and respectful but did feel at times, just a tad too much overlooked by the family’s adjoining home. And did wonder if we were to bring our dog, how we would have contained him so he wouldn’t have been a nuisance to the owners or their children.

I loved everything about this property. The kitchen is well kitted out. There was always lots of hot water. The fan was welcomed as it was really warm at night. Great selection for TV. Light and airy in the living/kitchen area. Our dog was really happy out their and the owners dog is a wee star. She didn't enter our building once - she stood at the door and looked in a few times and then went about her day. The 2 dogs got on great too which means a lot. The hosts were lovely and always at hand to help if it was needed. Beautiful area to sit outside. Central to everywhere. We will definitely be back.

There was no tongs to lift things out of the air fryer - not a complaint, just a suggestion.

What a delightful place to stay. Our hosts have created a wonderful oasis. They even provisioned with breakfast items bread milk oatmeal and coffee. Communication was excellent prior to our stay and they provided an information book at the house. 2 bikes were are available for us to use. The house was very clean, comfortable & updated. The property is out of town but it was an easy walk into the city centre or to the bus stop. The bus was convenient and easy to access.

It was a home away from home with everything you could ask for.
