Great location, very friendly and helpfull owner and staff.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The shower was to low and small .

The location is perfect, with a splendid view of the entire Vela Luka and the sea. We took full advantage of the bbq. The streets are small and there is no parking place in front of the house. We park the car at a 10-15 minute walk to the apartment.

During the whole period, We had problems with the shower, it was broken, a lot of water flowed in the bathroom(

The property was clean and tidy. The balcony view was amazingly stunning. The room had everything needed.

Nothing to dislike.

The apartment is located on a charming and peaceful cobbled street (a short walk to the marina) and has a lovely balcony with a gorgeous view of the town (although not the view shown in the listing which included the sea). I love how you feel like a part of the town community when staying here. The air conditioner was very effective and the bed was comfortable, and with a bit of tender love and care (see comments below), it could be a very nice space. Although there were some language barriers with the owners, they were kind and responsive. When I messaged about missing items they promptly brought the key things we needed and also gave us some delicious figs, which was very nice.

This was the most expensive place we booked on our road trip up the Dalmatian coast, but unfortunately it wasn't in nearly as good condition as the other places we have stayed. Overall, the cleaning could be improved - the place was dusty, our sheets contained small bits of debris (see photo) nd were also stained, and the bathroom basin had some gunk in the sink plug. Our biggest challenge however was the poor provisioning. We chose this place as it offered a kitchenette and dining table for self catering, yet both turned out to be very cramped and old (unlike the kitchen images in the listing which must be other rooms). When we arrived the fridge and stove were both switched off (we didnt realize this til the next morning). The room was also missing necessary basic items including a frying pan, dish scrubber and dishwashing liquid, forks, bowls, a chopping board and kettle (the kettle was mentioned in another review some time ago). We also only received one roll of toilet paper and a small amount of soap which was not enough to last us the full week that we were staying. The host did kindly bring us several of the missing items when we asked, but on the whole it was challenging to prepare our own meals because the facilities and appliances were inadequate. With a bit more care and attention to detail I think this could be a nice place but as it is currently I don't think the value justifies the cost.

The property is well located for Vela Luka. The host Franjo was incredibly nice and helpful but due to a language barrier it was very difficult to communicate our needs.

Unfortunately, the property looked nothing like the pictures. We were in a very small space, just one room for the three of us. The furniture was tired and the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked.

The apartment was in a lovely old stone building in a quiet location with lovely views from the terrace and a short walk to the centre of Vela Luka.

A simplified check in process would be beneficial- perhaps a lock box at the actual property. We met the owner at a different address to where the property was actually located and had a further short walk with our luggage which was slightly frustrating. The bedding provided was inadequate for a family and it was disappointing that we had to make up the sofa bed ourselves on arrival. The shower leaked and was handheld rather than fixed to the wall. The bathroom window would have benefitted from a privacy screen.
