Badgers Den

We enjoyed the location it is quiet but we wanted to retreat. The house is set in beautiful grounds we had a layer of snow arrive so that was fun. The house is as very warm and cosy and plenty of space for 6 people on a short break.

Bigger TV needed in the lounge and a TV in the master would be good. It is not equipped for 6 people we were missing cereal bowls, glasses and eggs cups. Which is a shame as they have lots of other equipment in the kitchen. They need to do a full inventory of the house and reorganise the games chest. It’s a bit unkept and needs some TLC. Curtains are so thin it would be struggle in the lighter months.

Difficult to find first night in the dark

Lovely cottage - and we have family connections to the area so have always loved the location.

My 85 year old parents would have liked specific bath mats to have been provided. We could have done with two tea towels and some dishcloths. A couple more cereal bowls would be good.

Beautiful cottage in great location. Very comfy beds and bedding. Great showers.

More crockery/mugs required. Back garden could be beautiful but been neglected. WiFi not good.

Very homely, lovely gardens

The property is lovely and suited 4 adult family members.

The supposedly early check in at 2 -3 pm wasnt explained to the cleaners. We actually arrived later than that however the cottage was still being cleaned at 4pm vaccumming, bathroom cleaning dish washer all operating floor washing etc over the next 45 mins, upstairs was the area that had been completed.
