Corfu Lakeside Cottage

Everything was perfect. It is a massive 1 bedroom apartment with everything you need. Only a short distance from kanonoi and the old town. The bus to kanonoi is just up the road but the bus to the old town is about 5 minutes walk due to the ring road.

The apartment was very nice, equipped with everything you may need during your stay. The host was always available and very easy to communicate with.

First of all Christina was always by our side to see if we were comfortable, thank you very much. The apartment is beautiful and nicely decorated, it has everything you need for a good stay. We loved everything about our stay and we definitely recommend it. Thanks again Christina.

We loved the interior design, the garden, and the beautiful kitchen. It’s right beside a supermarket and a bus route. Highly recommend

Everything was amazing! It’s very close to the airport but we didn’t mind. It can be quite exciting to see the planes coming and going, but the loudness isn’t an issue because they have sound insulated the apartment very well.

The property was spotless, furnished in good taste and had everything you need from a holiday house. The cherry on top was the very warm welcome by Christina, the owners daughter. The bed was very comfortable and Christina had made sure I had everything I needed inside the house.

First of all the biggest worry we had was the airport being so close by which wasn’t a problem at all. The sound of the aircraft’s is still hearable but there aren’t many fights at night atleast I’m our season (middle April) The host is super nice and friendly, we loved how easy and fast the communication was. Everyone was super nice and friendly, perfect English and communication skills included :)) + The option of an easy self check in made everything super easygoing and smooth. We liked that the apartment was very clean and cutely decorated. The different light options (big lamp, kitchen counter lights etc.) made the atmosphere very cozy and comfortable to chill. The whole apartment looks so well put together and really gives the vibe of an home-away-from-home. We stayed for sadly only 7 days and felt totally at home. The apartment had good cooking equipment, shampoo, everything necessary for the coffee machine and lots of towels in different sizes. There is an air conditioner which works really fast and is easy to handle, we loved that we were able to heat up the apartment in just a few minutes.

First of all we want to point out that these are very insignificant “flaws” and we loved our stay. We would have loved a bit more basic cooking ingredients (salt, pepper) as well as laundry detergent but we were one of the first people staying there so that’s totally understandable. Also the shower is in a bathtub, using it is going to flood the bath and there is only a little mob to fix that with is not very efficient or works well. So the bathroom floor is basically constantly wet. We had flip flops to wear indoors which helped a lot but we still carried the “wetness” through the whole flat. Also if you want to eat outside it’s notable that the outdoor ear isn’t as you might imagine. The apartment is on the ground floor in an bigger multi apartment complex (maybe 8/10) and there is a large tiled terrace area infront, which doesn’t have a nice view on the lake. It wasn’t a problem for us since we didn’t ate outside a lot but we think when you hear “lake side cottage” you maybe think of a more private place + a prettier view.
