The host’s behavior and communication. At one point, the owner suggested that I cancel the reservation on Booking.com so that he would not have to pay the platform commission for my long-term booking. I found this very unprofessional. The owner also accused us of breaking the toilet seat, even though it had already been nearly broken when we checked in. In addition, the kettle was not working from the beginning of our stay and was never replaced during the two weeks we were there. As a result, we had to boil water for tea in a pot. After we checked out, the host contacted me on WhatsApp and asked me to pay extra for cleaning, saying that the apartment had been left in an unacceptable condition. In reality, there were only a few unwashed plates, and the rubbish had been collected in bags and tied up which I find normal. Be careful, you can't use any delivery service. The intercom does not work inside the apartment, so it is not possible to let couriers into the building. Every time we ordered any delivery, we had to get fully dressed, go outside, leave the gate, and meet the courier on the street. Overall, we were not satisfied with the communication with the owner. In fact, there was almost no communication during the two weeks of our stay, and the issues we reported were not properly resolved.

Grocery store is nice.

We arrived at around 3 a.m., and together with the taxi driver we could not find the entrance. Without a local LTE connection it was very stressful and uncomfortable to search for the entrance in the middle of the night. When we finally got into the apartment, the kettle was not working — it simply would not turn on. Communication with the host was fine on the first day, but after that they did not reply for two weeks... The location itself is acceptable, but there are several issues with the apartment. The neighbors are very easy to hear, the balcony door does not close properly, and the apartment gets cold unless the heater is constantly on. There is also no proper peephole in the entrance door — just an open hole, which does not feel very safe. Another inconvenient point is that there is only one set of keys. If one person leaves the apartment, for example to go to the shop, the other person has to come downstairs to let them back in, or they have to wait until another resident enters the building. Overall, the apartment may be acceptable for a very short stay, but due to the lack of instructions, maintenance issues, poor communication, noise, heating problems, and key situation, I cannot recommend it.
