Cedar House

Great little hideaway. We both loved, loved, loved the hot tub and the privacy! And the food provided was a great add-on! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was sweet, and the bed was comfortable!! Thank you so much! We will be staying again!

Hostess was very accommodating and punctual to our needs. Upgraded our apartment in the middle of our stay free of charge.

Had to move rooms due to the bed in the first room was very uncomfortable. They moved us to a room with a bigger bed and didn't charge us for the bigger unit.

The owners stocked the fridge and pantry which was a great touch. Very clean and recently updated. My kids loved the hot tub and balcony. Not a far drive from the amenities and was still in distance for food delivery.

Not dog friendly as promised on the site. They have a "dog Friendly" room but apparently Booking.com and the owner of the property don't communicate when you book a pet friendly room on the app. Call ahead of time. Not recommended for large dogs, as there is not a huge area to walk them.

Very clean, updated and cute decor. The manager stopped in and showed me how to turn on the heat and brought me extra bottled water. Her daughter showed me how to use the TV.

The only drawback was I could hear the guests in the apartment over my head moving around at night. I hesitate to mention it, but it really was the only small negative comment I have.

The place was very clean and cozy. We loved the layout of the place. The kitchen was beautiful.

There are several steps leading to the unit. This made it hard to lug our bags wearing heels, but not a deal breaker. The breakfast is cook for yourself style, which would be nice if you have an hour to cook and clean.

Had to drive down the road to speak with hostess. Also could not check in til 5pm. Was told we were staying in one room but then received a message stating we would be in a different room. Also tried to pay for room early and was told I couldn't I had to wait til 5. Kinda through a loop in plans of being able to go explore branson. As we we changed our plans around to be able to be back at 5 to pay for room, I got a message saying see you at 3. All the while I had the code to the door. Just seemed unorganized and not very convenient. Took us a good while to figure out how to get the stove on as they keep the breaker switch off, but no information posted anywhere about needing to flip the switch.

The way the apartment was decorated. Cozy with the fireplace lit . Food stocked was nice.

This was a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels, blankets and supplies. Great selection for the included breakfast. We loved that it was not right in the busy city of Branson. We had a nice view and a hot tub in our apartment. The walls of Cedar were so nice, smelled wonderful and very pretty.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Cedar House! The property was very clean and quiet. The beds were super comfortable. We loved the exposed cedar all around the inside and outside of this cozy rental. Easy check in with the door code left for us to check in at our convenience. Room spray, soap and travel sizes of shampoo and conditioner as well as plenty of toilet paper were left in bathroom. Paper towels, dish soap, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper were in the kitchen along with dishes, cups, silverware, wine glasses and cutting boards. The fridge and cabinets were stocked with a variety of fresh breakfast/snack items to cook at our leisure and we enjoyed a delicious brunch of bacon, eggs, toast and fresh fruits. Fresh bath towels and the beach towels for hot tub were left out for us. The hot tub was lovely and we especially enjoyed our relaxing evenings on the deck. Two sliding glass doors from dining room led to an open private deck and a covered private area of the deck with the hot tub. Table and chairs to relax with a cup of coffee on both deck areas. Wifi password was provided and we were able to join and log the TV into our streaming apps without difficulty.

We loved the property but there were a few suggestions to help future guests enjoy their stay. The back of the property is very steep. Only one parking spot near the front and when it was taken, we had to make the steep walk from the back of the property. Not a long walk but could be difficult for a senior or special needs family member, also hard if carrying in luggage. We sometimes enjoy watching tv in bed and we were unable to do this with only one TV located in the living room. While there were frying pans provided, we found ourselves in need of a spatula when we were making our breakfast. My husband ran down to the Dollar General located not far away so it was no big deal. We left it for the next guest, but some more cooking utensils and baking items would be helpful if guests would be staying longer and doing more cooking.
