The apartment is quite comfortable, big couch with tv. The kitchen looks new and it’s very quiet at night. The place was clean when we got there. Host usually responded quickly when we had questions.

‘Check-in from 12:00 to 00:00’ doesn’t mean you can check in any time you like after 12, it means you can check in at 16h (I still don’t understand how I should have understood that from the booking profile) unless the apartment happens to be available at an earlier time. How I see it, the host didn’t honour the contract. We were unable to check in before 15:00. ‘Free parking near the apartment’ is a little misleading. There’s (seemingly random) paid and unpaid parking in de street, but the unpaid spots were usually all taken. We circled around a lot and temporarily parked in a paid spot so we wouldn’t have to carry our luggage too far. Then the apartment itself - you can tell nobody lives there. There’s a coffee machine, but no pads. There’s an iron but no board. No kettle. Most importantly, no toilet paper! Lastly, read the small letters before booking. We didn’t and that’s on us, but still: €20 for clean sheets for one bed? All this would not have been so bad if we’d known beforehand but considering the perfect 10/10 score this place had when we booked it, we felt disappointed.
