Villa Porto

The property location was amazing, just minutes from the ferry. The host was amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The hosts were so so helpful, they went out of their way to help us, they kindly let us borrow the paddle boards for a day - we couldn’t ask for better hosts

The location has an excellent view but is up a very steep hill, Rogac is very quiet but the hosts help with shopping etc so make it much easier

The apartment is spacious, very bright and has everything you need. The location is great if you plan to drive around the island with a car. Tena, the host, is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. She even let us borrow her paddle board & the pump for a few days, and gave us some vegetables and spices from her garden. So sweet :)

If the neigbors are loud, you can unfortunately hear them. But after complaining to Tena she talked to them without hesitation. The apartment doesn’t have a dishwasher but we mostly ate outside anyway so for us it wasn’t a problem at all.

The terrace is awesome and the bbq outside is very usefull in the summer. The kitchen is really nice and the rooms are pretty large

The equipment in the kitchen can be more complete.

The apartments are of decent size, especially the one where I've personally been, since it has 2 separate bedrooms, so 4 people can comfortably stay here. Everything is newly renovated - and more importantly, it was very clean once we got there. The bathrooms are nice, there's always water and good pressure (something to keep in mind since Šolta is not a big island). The hosts are great and very communicative. They showed us all the nice beaches to go to, they helped us with renting a boat for a great price, and generally they were trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Villa Porto is located very close to the ferry port, so it is very easy to go to Split for anything you need, even on foot. Also, it's still super calm and quiet so you enjoy both benefits. I recommend this place to anybody who wishes to have a nice place to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful island beaches.

The kitchens were lacking some amenities (e.g. toaster&microwave) and were generally a little under-equipped. But on the other hand, for a summer vacation when you usually prepare simple meals - there is everything you need and the above mentioned is not a deal breaker. It was generally extremely hot in the apartments, and even with the A/C turned on 24/7, it was a struggle to cool the bedrooms, as they are located on the opposite side and the cool air just doesn't make it there. It doesn't help that 3/4 bedrooms are on the east side, so already from 6:00 AM we were getting attacked by the relentless sun. The beds are a bit on the uncomfortable side for my taste (too soft and your body just sinks in - which also contributes to the feeling of heat). The nearest grocery store is far away and you must take the car to go there. But this is something that's more or less common for the entire island

Great hosts and lovely facilities.

Our expectations were high and they were met. Modern and clean apartment with a balcony, a short walk from the ferry. Very nice and welcoming host! Perfect place for those who enjoy a quiet time away from crowds and noise ❤️

Location was ideal, very handy for the ferry and cafe, and the beach.

Nothing to improve, it was just what we needed.
