"Do not stay here at all they will hold your deposit and accuse you of theft so they don’t have to pay you back"

1.0

The property is very dated and there are better properties in the area The property takes a deposit of £100 then blames you for taking things and holds the deposit this is a con

The property is a con they take your deposit off you and has done this before by accusing guests of taking towels when they haven’t

Nothing

Major catfish. I’d looked at the reviews before booking and the ones that came up for me were all 7-10 stars. Clearly they’d not actually stayed there. It smelled mouldy. The downstairs bedroom had so many ants. At least 30 circling one area when I went to bed. Towels on the bed were wet. There were wires hanging over one headboard, wires for what I don’t know. Some of the small square mirrors in the pictures had fallen off the wall. All the other mirrors looked like fun mirrors. Mould and stains on bed covers. In every ceiling corner there was cobwebs and big, daddy long leg type spiders. The ceilings were high, but you can use a hoover pipe or long duster to remove them. My sister woke up to a spider crawling across the headboard, which I know can’t exactly be helped most times, except for the fact that cobwebs were everywhere. I don’t think I’ve ever seen steeper stairs in my life, they were not safe, especially for my mum who’s recently had surgery on her foot. The upstairs bathroom had a glass door, you were in full view of anyone walking by. We had to buy our own toilet paper because the one roll we were given ran out. The downstairs toilet door didn’t shut properly. There was a tv with no signal and a broken remote. The fridges smelled and one had not been emptied before our arrival. Plates in the cupboard that had not been cleaned properly. Not enough cutlery for the amount of people it sleeps. Sink sponge and scourer were used and dirty. And no tea towel. Blinds in the kitchenette were broke. Shards of glass sticking up from their back garden walls, so that tells you all you need to know about the neighbourhood, which is surprising considering it’s next to a school/academy. The light switches were dirty. There was a hole in the wall upstairs from a door handle and one of the curtain poles was broke. Some type of stain or water damage in one ceiling corner.

"Clean and comfortable stay"

7.0

So pleased there was a bedroom downstairs as I have knee problems and couldn't make it up the staircase as it was so very steep. Lovely and clean rooms downstairs didn't see upstairs but my friends said they were nice. Well equipped with towels bedding and loo paper toiletries ect. Kitchen was also well equipped and spotless

On arrivel we were a bit scared of the neighbours cos they looked like they were on drugs and were asking us for fags.....a blind in the kitchen would of been nice because we felt they could be looking in and the stairs were so steep I couldn't go up them but the owner said there is plans to improve this next year. The property could benefit from a full-length glass mirror. There was something on the wall but not a mirror.

"Good value for money"

7.0

Good value for money and helpful staff. Walking distance to town centre.

Very cramped communal space for 7 people. No locks for the bathrooms. Mouldy smell in downstairs bedroom. No wine or Prosecco glasses. Only one roll of toilet paper in each toilet so had to buy more. Only one towel provided on double bed and I booked for 8 people.
