Loved how clean the place was We had a good night's rest

The site says there is a swimming pool so we were rather excited however when we arrived we saw that it was a small kiddies pool.

The guesthouse has a welcoming and friendly ambiance, the room was a bit small for two people and two dogs but it was only for one night and therefore no problem. It’s good value for money! Our short walk around town was delightful - Colesberg could be a real gem if only it had an administration that cares enough to keep it clean and well maintained. All in all a recommendable stay over!

We hit the one day where it poured in Colesberg. I am sure the people who live there were happy about the much needed rain. But unfortunately our ceiling had a leak, and so we waded in water all over our bedroom. Constant dripping kept us awake, and to top it all the electricity went off because of the storm, and it was quite a challenge to navigate our way around in a slippery dark and cold room.

It's a beautiful old building, well restored, we loved it. Staff very friendly
