Gator Haven

An older Florida home, but well maintained and very clean. Spacious and fun for family…ping pong, foosball, games, fire pit, large porch, yard, etc. on site. Nice neighborhood on dead end street close to UF campus and good communication with hosts.

Very close to UF, safe neighborhood, big comfortable house, Gator's "themed" decorated, and quick communication with the owner.

Price is high whenever UF is scheduling major events. The suite bathroom needs a renovation.

Our stay at Gator Haven could not have been better. The large kitchen and living room were perfect for our family to spread out and relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and accommodating. My parents loved the back screened-in porch to enjoy their coffee in the mornings, listen to the birds chirp, and listen to the rainfall. We also loved how all of the house rules, check-out procedures, important phone numbers, and Gainesville information were printed out and hung up on the kitchen wall in frames for easy accessibility, instead of searching high and low for an information binder. Our host Laura was absolutely incredible! Her communication was quick and clear, and she was very helpful with any questions we had. She even accommodated a late checkout for us after we got back to the house late after attending the FSU/UF football game. We did not have to collect property keys, Laura provided us with the keyless entry code to enter the front door. It was a very easy and quick process! Highly highly recommend staying here, it is very close to the University of Florida.
