Beach House

It was a perfect house to cater for our family reunion. Loved the location to the beach and town. Lots of bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen

It lists that there is a tumble dryer and clothes rack. However the only way of drying clothes is an outside clothes line, which is not ideal when it rains a lot. We found a local laundromat to dry our clothes. Also a small details, but no shower gel provided so bought several to cater for all the bathrooms.

Difficult to find the house. Recommend putting the house number over the front door. Bathroom on the top floor should have a shower instead of a bath

Very stylish house, spacious and very clean. Lovely bathrooms and bedrooms, extremely comfortable sofas. We loved the secure garden, perfect for children and pups. Also great to have a little gate at back into a big park for kids and dog walks.

There were odd gaps in kitchen equipment for such a big house. There were no roasting tins or baking trays for example. We felt there could have been more instructions in the house folder to things like the heating, the cooking hob etc. The contact with the host was strangely impersonal, although the caretaker was prompt in sorting out a couple of issues with refuse collections.

Our daughters wedding was at Durlston Castle so the Beach House was ideally positioned as only 10 minutes away. The house is very spacious and comfortable and wished we could have stayed longer . Can highly recommend Bills Taxis. Short walk into Swanage with the beach, shops and pubs. . Also everything there for you such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and tea towels.

A 4 slice toaster would be helpful and a salad spinner but there is lots of tableware, crockery and kitchenware. Only smalll things really.

The house was lovely and very spacious. WiFi and tv's for entertainment. A really lovely house from top to bottom, 1/4 mile easy walk into town. Space for three cars on the drive and a nice outdoor garden space with a large charcoal bbq. We've already booked again for next year.

No negatives, just positives.

The house is beautiful and so spacious for 12 people. The garden is beautiful and the playing field out the back really helped with entertaining the children in the evening. They could even go and watch the local footnall team. Wendy was so friendly and show us round the house when we arrived showed us the best bedrooms.

Some items were missing like BBQ utensils. But we brought some and left there.

Great space for all our group, great garden for the dogs. Utility room was so handy! Short walk to town. We loved it!

Door handles! 2 of us shut fingers in the doors as the spacing is so tight! Once we knew it was fine. Otherwise a fab property!

The photographs of the house didn't actually do it justice - the house was amazing! We had a family get together for a special birthday. The house was perfect, especially the large kitchen/lounge area. The ensuite bathrooms were luxurious and the beds very comfortable. We took dogs and they had a great time in the safe garden. It was a short walk to the beach.

The upstairs rooms in the house were a bit cold.
