The Kingfishers Burrow

Location is great, close to Llandovery, by the river and lots of birds in the surrounding trees.

The smell of drains when sitting outside. Bathroom is essentially a very small wet room, I’ve had far better in other pods. The round window above the bed means that light is in your eyes as soon as dawn breaks.

Facilities excellent. Location excellent. Staff super friendly.

Could do with a few more bins scattered around.

The hut had everything you would need for a weekend break, in comfort. Very clean & tidy! Immaculate in fact! Loved listening to the water outside whilst laying in bed. Very secluded pod area, we felt like the only people there, surrounded by water & sheep. Very easy to cook our breakfast & dinner with pull down table. Would have had a BBQ has we stayed longer.

The only thing that would have helped us being a dog owner, is that the balcony has a gate to make it secure. But we easily resolved it by having our long line in the car and attaching it to our dog so he could have a wander/ sunbathe without disturbing the other residents & sheep.

Location was perfect, very peaceful and stunning views. Pods were so comfortable and relaxing, and had everything to feel just at home. The town it self was very nice, decent pubs and restaurants for food!

No dislikes, loved our stay!

There was no where to hang your towels after shower

Peaceful and quiet.

Clean, accessible, very short walk into town, river outside is a lovely addition Tea, sugar, coffee, Welsh cakes and milk sachets are provided Good water pressure in the shower TV with some dvds Spacious and well kept! Staff very friendly and approachable Only stayed for 3 days but could have easily spent a week!
