Villa Danai

This luxurious yet cosy property has super modern fixtures including external shutters, a highly unique lighting system both inside and out, a TV in every room, an exceptionally well equipped modern kitchen and a beautiful pool area. It was situated out in the countryside but within walking distance of the little town of Gouvia and was an easy distance from Corfu town itself. The host was excellent and provided a lot of information on where to eat and sporting facilities and he was very keen to help whenever he could. The house was very clean and the housekeeper was exceptionally friendly and looked after us really well.

Alex the host is amazing, he is basically a personal concierge to recommend and book restaurants/bars/beaches/anything you possibly need! The Villa and garden itself is huge, high spec and modern - our opinion is that the accommodation is far better value for money than any 5-star hotel you will find on the island for the same price Also, the lovely friendly cleaner comes every day so the place is spotless always!

The location is beautiful and peaceful up and away from the noise of the town and main road, however if you have children you may need a car as it’s a challenging walk into town

Kids area could do with a bit of TLC. Pool area was very slippery when wet - especially for young ones.

Villa Danai is exactly as it looks on the pictures, it is a clean, mordern and spacious property with a lovely pool and garden area. Alex (our host) was so incredibly helpful before our stay, booking our airport transfers and sharing lots of info and recommendations about the local area and old town. Upon arrival, we were met at the property by Kostas who showed us around, and gave instructions on how everything worked. The villa has everything you need for a stay, from a speaker, pool floats, sun loungers, a bbq, outside dining table to 3x bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds, lots of towels and a spacious living /dining room. There was even a lovely cleaner Maria who came every day (apart from Sunday) to clean the whole space. We didn’t have a car, which we thought might be an issue, but there is a supermarket a 15 minute walk away (easily walkable in the morning but was a bit of a struggle in the midday sun), and a bus stop that ran to the old town every 30 minutes just past the shop. Couldn’t recommend more.

We spent a week with our family at the Danai villa and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. Modern smart home with all the amenities, great contact with the owner.

The villa is located in a very quiet area of Gouvia, just a 15-minute drive from Corfu Old Town. It's also about 15 minutes to Kassiopi and approximately 25 minutes from the airport. The area offers numerous options for supermarkets, pharmacies, and small eateries. The owner has been extremely kind, helping us make dinner reservations at popular restaurants in Corfu Old Town and providing plenty of suggestions on places to visit, including the best beaches. The cleaner and pool maintenance staff come every few days, with the owner giving us advance notice each time. On top of this, if you are looking for an evening of relaxation, they too can help you to source for a private chef to the Villa to prepare meals for you (at an additional cost). The property sits on a large piece of land adorned with beautiful olive trees, offering ample parking space for 3 to 4 cars. It is very new, only completed in June/July 2024. We loved the privacy and spaciousness it provided for our family of four. All bedrooms are ensuite with comfortable double beds and blackout shades. The villa is very modern, equipped with a centralized control system, fast internet connection, and TVs in the living room and all bedrooms for downtime. Despite the intense summer heat in Corfu, the villa’s air conditioning system kept us cool throughout the day. The pool was the perfect size for our family, and we enjoyed using the electric BBQ pit for quiet evening meals. I highly recommend this property for anyone considering a long stay in Corfu.

We had an amazing staying in Villa Danai! Modern place with all the facilities in a peaceful ground in the nature. Very close to the town and the top beaches, enjoyed the pool a lot! Alex helped us with everything! Definitely recommended!

We stayed at Villa Danai only one day as wanted to be closer to the port for our trip next day. Wish we had found this gem sooner. Brand new house with a pool and BBQ. Smart home. Plus the owner is super helpful and quite responsive.

Many years we have been visiting Corfu and i believe is one of the best places you can stay regarding location. It is in the middle of everything. Brand new building, well equipped with very cool vibes. The playground it’s an amazing facility for families with kids, as well as the heated pool. Super helpful host, highly recommended villa
