It's disappointing, though not surprising, to see the host's response filled with false accusations regarding the state of the property. The villa was left clean and tidy upon our departure, and we paid an £80 cleaning fee as part of our booking. These baseless claims are a clear attempt to deflect from the very serious issues we experienced and have reported, including undisclosed surveillance cameras in private areas, and the distressing refusal to return my autistic son's comfort blanket. Adding to the host's highly uncooperative behavior regarding the blanket, she held it ransom for tourist tax. Then, despite claiming it was about the tax, she refused to let my sister drop off the money for it. This happened after she assumed I was already on my plane, which was unfortunately delayed by 15 hours. We have clear text messages proving this deliberate obstruction and contradictory behavior. Furthermore, when we respectfully raised these concerns, the host then resorted to abusive and threatening communication, falsely accusing us of being 'rude, inappropriate, and quarrelsome,' and even threatening police action when we informed her of our intention to leave an honest review. Unlike the host, we are not selectively showing screenshots to twist narratives. We are entirely comfortable with the full, unedited WhatsApp and private messages speaking for themselves, as they clearly corroborate every detail of our experience. We welcome the facts to stand on their own. All comprehensive evidence regarding these matters will be provided to Booking.com within the next day. The host's public dishonesty and pattern of abusive and obstructive behavior only further highlights the unprofessional and problematic conduct we encountered.
