Villa Raisa

Location was amazing, this apartment was separated from the others, quiet and comfortable. One step from the promenade and the sea, set in a beautiful garden.

The owner/manager didn't inform us in advance how to enter the property by car, where to park, how to enter the apartment. I had to call few times directly at the premise to get the access code to the room (we didn't get the keys). The TV did not work, wifi was poor.

Great apartment and very close to the beach. Great staff and our stay was exceptional.

We liked everything! Our host, the lady responsible for the handover, Evica was super nice, she explained to us how the door works with the code, she showed us how to open the gate, and the garage door. She showed us all the amenities, and gave us some tips regarding everything we needed. The beach and the beach promenade was literally right in front of the back door exit, the nearest public beach was in one minute walk from there.

There wasn't a thing we didn't like in this property. Everything has worked out as we expected.

The location is perfect, offering a stunning sea view and access to a promendade that is a bit more like a quaint goat trail. But i guess that is what is the area like. The kitchen and living room are open-plan and nicely equipped, providing a seemingly cozy living space.

The baby bed was draped with raggedy old cloths and a makeshift foam cut-out instead of a mattress. Through the locked door glass, we could see a proper changing table, just out of reach. The washing machine, supposedly available, was restricted to the hours of 8 AM to 2 PM—perfect for a tightly scheduled nightmare. The entire operation seemed to be run by a cleaning lady who spoke no English and her husband, who served as a reluctant translator. Communication felt like an endless, futile game. The manager, fluent in English, repeatedly reminded us of her status as a lawyer, dismissing our complaints with an eerie smile and a question: why couldn’t we be happy in their "beautiful villa"? The bed, a relic from another era, was so uncomfortable I woke up with bruises. Each night was a battle against the springs and the hard surface. The bedroom heating was nonexistent, forcing us to rely on the living room heater and kitchen aircon. The bedroom was an icy tomb, unsuitable for a baby, who would freeze if left alone. Open wires in the bathroom and kitchen floor holes added an element of danger to our stay. One morning, we were greeted by smoking workers on our terrace while I was half-dressed. They were there to fix the manager's daughter's electricity, without any warning. All traffic went through our terrace, where floor-to-ceiling doors offered no privacy. The TV was a lifeless box until my tech-savvy husband spent hours resurrecting it. The sound and cable setup turned into a marathon task. Initially given a garage, we felt secure. But when workers arrived, filling the yard with cars, we were rudely informed the garage wasn’t ours, and parking there was merely a "privilege. Constant reminders of how "lucky" we were to stay there made us feel like intruders rather than guests. We decided to leave early, with the manager agreeing to refund the unused days.

Location is extremely good. Pebble beach is 2 walking minutes away with great children playground. Kitchen is extremely well equipped.

The mattress is extremely hard in main bedroom.
