Wow what an amazing place. We absolutely loved staying here. The view far exceeded our expectations.

The location and views from this property are genuinely spectacular. It’s a great base to explore Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. There is also a wonderful walk at the bottom of the driveway over the headland that also takes you down to the beach in only a few minutes. Tina was very helpful and made every effort to ensure that we had everything we needed. Beds were good and the house was quite spacious, with most of the inclusions needed for a comfortable stay. The price point is somewhat at the higher end and the house is a bit tired but predominantly this stay is all about the magnificent view. Be warned that the driveway is so steep that it's an adventure all in itself :) We enjoyed our visit.

Just a few minor niggles - the kitchen was missing some bits and pieces that you’d generally expect to be included – we couldn’t find oven mitts, a decent sized saucepan, microwave safe containers etc. A dryer would also be appreciated. For a family a drying rack only goes so far. Strangely, the property also requests that you strip the beds when checking out. We travel a lot and thought that (for the price) this was both unexpected and unusual.

The view is spectacular! We enjoyed watching the changing colours of the sea, the birds, it truly is an incredible view of Hahei from this house. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The coffee machine a really nice bonus, thank you.

For the cost I would have expected better facilities, instead it felt like we just paid for a view in a bach needing some work. Bbq was dirty with no cleaning tools.
