The Antlers

Very nice place to stay in will definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved how Sandy and Sandra run The Antlers. We were made to feel very welcome and at home, nothing was too much trouble. Sandy is a character, full of stories and history, he loves to chat, but makes sure he isn't being over bearing. Sandra is the hostess with the mostess! We had a tray of tea and biscuits on arrival and the use of the lounge. Breakfast was a huge variety, more than we could eat! The full Scottish, one being a vegetarian, was very filling and tasty. Very traditional and made with love. This stay won't be for everyone, but it was for us. Quirky, personable and like we were at a family members home for a visit.

The only thing that we didn't like, and we really don't like to put anything negative as the stay was wonderful, was the smell of cigarettes, as Sandy is a smoker. However we didn't see him smoke in the house whilst we were there.

Gorgeous secluded location, very much enjoyed the peaceful and intimate atmosphere. Received a warm welcome from the owners on arrival, some great local recommendations and a wholesome breakfast. Perfect 1-night stay.

The Antlers was quiet and comfortable with amazing views - an excellent base from which to explore the North of Scotland. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful breakfasts - thank you.
