Misty Mountain Morning

We loved the thoughtfulness that went into all the decor and amenities. All the appliances are very nice! The bathroom and kitchen are gorgeous! The living room is very cozy. The bedroom and loft are huge.

Lighting on the outdoor steps to access the grill or the hot tub at night is needed; I t’s very hard to see the steps coming down from the porch. A bathrobe hook on the interior bathroom door would facilitate hanging robes, pjs, or extra towels (in the event that a family stays at the cabin). I would’ve liked a kettle for tea (electric or standard).

Honestly the cabin was pretty, in a great location and the bed was clean and comfortable.

The issue we had was that the area where the cabin is located has fairly new constructed cabins on the property. I said that to say there is a good bit of construction going on in the area. There was a damaged fiber optic cable that had the internet down from Monday until we left a day early on Friday. The TV was internet ran, no cable. I could not access any of my devices other than my cell phone which we ran dead watching TV on it. I had to act as an IT person and keep plugging/unplugging the router with the hopes of it working. We were not successful. We paid for Sunday through Saturday but we left on Friday because the whole situation was stressful. My husband and I both woke up at 4am and decided to come on home Friday. We just wanted to go back home. We only get one vacation a year and this one was not up to par with vacations in the past. We will not be booking this cabin again. Little imperfections were there was black mold between the sliding glass doors of the shower, the house was dusty and the glass to the windows high up were streaked. There is no closets and only one toilet. The couch was uncomfortable. Not a 5 star cabin in my opinion.
