Breathtaking view. Very peaceful and prefect stay

Good position near the Breede River, convenient for fishing with good views.

It needed a really good deep clean, there were cobwebs in the corners & ceiling, but we were on a boys fishing trip & so it was acceptable to us - that said, had our wives joined us, they would NOT have been as accommodating. The fridge door didn’t close properly & the toilet ran non-stop. The curtains in the bedrooms are very thin & white, so people can see in at night with bedroom lights on, & the sun wakes you up very early since the room is not dark. That was all bearable, but the non-stop construction work from 7.30am until 5pm everyday really disrupted & disturbed our stay. Apparently this unit is due for a renovation, which will be a welcome upgrade.

The unit was dirty, needs a good clean!!! Under the bed was filthy, braai area was unclean too 😞… poor management!!! Light bulbs needed changing, no toilet paper Whole lot of contractors working right opposite repairing/restoring thatch making a racket ☹️

The view and lay out of apartment

For +-R1 000 pp the cleanliness was shabby! Rusty old stuff of the owner stored under the staircase. Seems the braai area not cleaned in months! No fan or aircon in bedrooms, on the road without security bars, so you cannot sleep with open windows. On arrival our parking space was occupied by the next door unit, had to ask our host to sort out a day later - something she should have noticed if she inspected the unit before we arrived.

The view is excellent. Enough kitchen equipment. Good wifi connection. Dog friendly enclosed property.
