La ubicación es perfecta para visitar TAKAYAMA, a unos pocos minutos a pie del centro y de todos los restaurantes. la casa es muy grande y amplia con muchos detalles que le da un plus y que como huesped se agradece mucho.

So many thoughtful touches, making this a lovely place to spend a few days or longer!

It was a great property with all the required amenities for the family and kids. Home interior was also fantastic with mix of authentic old Japanese house touch but renovated with modern appliances. There was a coffee maker with delicious coffee, bar unit, kitchen unit with all the needed utensils and crockeries. Massage chair and tv was cherry on the cake. Hosts even kept many toys for the kid who was very happy with those. As already mentioned, location is a bit far from the station (around 20 mins by walk) but no problem for people willing to have a short walk or with the car. Not to mention, Miyagawa morning market is just 10 mins walk from the house which is also worth to visit (opens from 07:00 to 12:00 noon). Overall will definitely recommend to stay here.

Karin house has everything you need and you might forget when you travel with kids . Great facilities, all utensils and kitchen supply , drink wear and very generous welcome snacks and drink. If you are going TAMAKARA with family also wants to cook some dishes yourself this is the one you shouldn’t miss . Bedroom were full equipped for cold winter and pre-warm before arrival. Walked to the local supermarket is easy and it’s close to the morning market and iconic old fashioned streets .

The Karin house was a lovely place for my family of 5 while we visited Takayama. We appreciated the beautiful shoji doors and other authentic building details, the snacks and coffee station, the laundry (plus dryer!) and of course, the massage chair.

The walk to the touristic area was about 15 minutes, but that's clear on the listing!

The interior and facilities are very nice and clean. Good location. Good for a group of friends. The host is good responsive. We love this place so much.
