Country House Hacienda

It was exactly as described. The evening meal was excellent. The owners and staff were attentive and helpful. The pool was lovely.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Basen był czyściutki, w godzinach wieczornych ładnie doświetlony, były wygodne leżaki ale zabrakło parasola, który dałby trochę cienia. Gospodarz miły, informował wcześniej co będzie kolejnego dnia na kolację.

Obiekt usytuowany przy głównej drodze, przejeżdżające samochody zakłócały spokój i ciszę, zarówno w godzinach porannych jak i wieczornych. Było to uciążliwe. Zabrakło informacji, że do kolacji, nie są wliczone napoje - wszystkie dodatkowo płatne. Wino, nie zawsze było schłodzone. W domku było mało miejsca, brakowało stolika lub półki na rzeczy, szafa była mała, bez półek, kilka wieszaków. Brakowała kącika na terenie obiektu, w którym byłby np czajnik , by zagotować wodę ( lub w pokoju), czy podstawowe przybory kuchenne- deska, nóż, by przygotować sobie jednak poranną kawę, śniadanko.

We had such a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable room. The hosts worked really hard and were so welcoming. The dinners each night very tasty. We felt like we had a really authentic Croatian Island experience and loved the tranquility of the location. The swimming pool was a bonus! Thankyou.

The area surrounding the cottage was beautiful and peaceful. The food in the restaurant was very nice and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean.

The cottage was very small and very warm. As there are so many insects, it's not possible to leave the doors/windows open to air out the room. The door into the bathroom was broken, and there were also very few plugs in the room. It would have been useful if an extra ventilator fan was provided and an electrical extension cord so as to be able to have access to more electrical sockets in the room (we did not ask for this so it may have been possible to provide this if asked the host- but providing these to future guests as standard would improve their stay greatly). It would have been nice to have safety handles and anti-slip mats in the shower to prevent falls, as the bathroom floor and the floor inside the shower were very slippery. The pool area was very pleasant. However, it would be a good idea to invest in parasols that are more wind resistant or another kind of sun shelter for the pool area. Although the location is quite windy, the pool area is very exposed to the sun, and therefore it is difficult to spend much time enjoying the pool area without any shade or shelter from the direct sunlight as the current parasols can't withstand the wind and there is no shade without them. If you are bothered by insects, this is not the place for you. The cottage is set in a garden in the countryside and therefore there are lots of insects around particularly ants and wasps (both inside and outside the accommodation).

You will be staying in a lovely stone village, surrounded by a variety of plants (and bugs). Having a dinner in their restaurant, with local products (olive oil!), is a must do experience! You will enjoy relax, quiteness and chilling vibes.

Rooms could be improved with additional furniture.

We like insects - there are quite a few. The rooms are hot - no air conditioning.
