Comfort Zone Apartment

Ήταν σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία. Πολύ καθαρό και ευρύχωρο.

Οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι χρίζουν ανακαίνισης. Επίσης καλό θα ήταν στην πόρτα του διαμερίσματος να υπάρχει κάτι που να μην φαίνεται ο κόσμος μέσα, κάτι σαν κουρτίνα ίσως.

Location close to the Oktagon ensured that we were close to attractions and public transport. Well apportioned apartament, comfortable and attractive. Did not use kitchen for cooking so cannot rate it. Good sized fridge and plenty of delph. Host responded to emails and apologised for prerequested items that were missing. Host plans to investigate the source of the reported bad smell in the apartment. Lovely high ceilings in the apartament. Nice area to stay in when visiting Budapest.

There was a bad smell in the apartment when we opened the front door on arrival and every time we returned to the apartment, I believe the smell came from the sewers. Then when we used the shower a very pungent smell emanated from the bathroom, which was also from the sewers. The balcony which gave direct access to the apartament, had an overflowing cigarette bin and cigarette butts were on the balcony area from previous inhabitants. There is a massive cobweb on the ceiling/wall beside the curtain in the living room.

The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything even a dishwasher. We liked that it had a proper dining table that seats 6. Beds were comfortable and had fairly new duvets & pillows. Towels provided were good quality. They even gave a brand new kettle for us to use. Quick to reply whenever we had queries.

The toilet seat kept sliding around so a bit inconvenient. The shower temperature changes between hot & cold every few seconds while taking a shower so really not ideal during the winter but it’s not a deal breaker for us.

The architecture was nice, but inside it was freezing cold…..

The temperature inside the house was 15 degrees Celsius, the rooms were heated only by clima which has no effect, the kitchen and the bathroom were freezing cold. Overall I wouldn’t recommend.

During my stay in Budapest, the apartment was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Its location in the heart of the city center made it incredibly convenient to explore nearby attractions. The cozy atmosphere of the space provided a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. With everything I needed at my fingertips, it felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest!
