In campagna

La camera è davvero incantevole e dotata di ogni comfort, dal microonde al frigo, dalla macchina del caffè al diffusore antizanzare, dai mazzi di carte, ai libri, bloc notes, candele alla citronella, e a richiesta anche bollitore...insomma i gestori hanno pensato davvero a tutto quello che potrebbe mettere a proprio agio l'ospite (tranne la TV che in effetti non è prevista ma che personalmente non era una mia esigenza).La stanza aveva una bella vista sul giardino sottostante (sempre di proprietà) con i suoi alberi da frutto. Chiara ci ha accolti con estrema cortesia ed estata gentilissima nel fornirci ogni informazione ci servisse e disponibilissima a fare un check in anticipato visto che eravamo di passaggio in anticipo rispetto agli orari previsti.Il bagno e la camera che (si affaccia su un ballatoio su cui poter fare colazione) sono ampi e estremamente puliti.La colazione viene servita in camera a base di torte fatte in casa, yogurt, succhi etc. Posizione a metà strada tra il lago di Varese e il lago Maggiore comoda per visitare la zona (che mi ci ha davvero colpito per la bellezza dei suoi scorci, ville, parchi, e passeggiate).

In Campagna is located in a very nice residential neighborhood. It is not in the country as its name implies. The host, Chiara, showed us to our room, explained the keys to the room door and the front gate, showed us our breakfast goodies in the fridge and on a table and generally made us feel very welcome. She spoke English very well. There is a small table to eat at in the room, as well as a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Pods of coffee are supplied and there are cellophane wrapped pastries. In the refrigerator there was yogurt, fruit juice, milk and space for our own food. The highlight was the container of two homemade pastries - a tart and a slice of cake. This was for breakfast the next morning. There were tables and comfortable chairs in the garden outside the room which we could use. After dark the trees in the garden were lit with strings of lights. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was supplied with nice towels, sachets of shower soap and a hairdryer. We enjoyed our one night stay at In Campagna. We would like to stay there again when we have more time to visit the lakes.

The was a lot of light coming through the filmy curtains, but that could have been remedied if I had known there were shutter doors outside the room doors. My husband and I run so we picked In Campagna thinking it was a neighborhood surrounded by countryside where we could run. It is in town, but we found running to be OK in the very nice neighborhood. There is no real parking place; we parked on grass by the side of the road just down the street from the house. The only real complaint is that the shower floor was very slippery.

Posizione in zona tranquilla con ristoranti nel circondario facilmente raggiungibili. Locali molto ben tenuti e puliti. Colazione varia con ottimi dolci di produzione propria. Inoltre il frigo è quotidianamente fornito di yogurt, succhi di frutta, latte, marmellate, burro, ecc. All'arrivo siamo stati accolti dalla proprietà che ci ha fornito una serie di utili informazioni per visitare la zona del lago Maggiore nonché consigliato i migliori ristoranti nelle vicinanze.
