Amazing

Πρόκειται για ένα όμορφο παραδοσιακό σπίτι, διακοσμημένο με πολύ γούστο. Το χωριό Απόλλωνα αποτελεί ιδανική επιλογή για όσους επιθυμούν να μείνουν μακριά από υπέρ-τουριστικά και θορυβώδη μέρη. Ο ιδιοκτήτης του σπιτιού είναι πολύ φιλόξενος και πάντοτε πρόθυμος να παρέχει πληροφορίες. Θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά οπωσδήποτε σε επόμενη επίσκεψή μας στη Ρόδο.

La décoration de la maison, la climatisation, le calme du village et la gentillesse des propriétaires

Pictures don’t do it justice, the place is even prettier in reality. Everything is in great condition. Beds were incredibly comfortable, AC works well (and silent). There is a TV (which we haven’t turned on) coffee filter, and a few welcome items + fruits left by the hosts. Hangers, washing machine, washing liquid, drying rack, iron, ironing table, hair dryer, they literally provide everything you need. Clean soft towels and bedsheets. Everything is white and tasteful. Both hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were given a tour of the village’s main square when we arrived which was thoughtful. Two shops, pharmacy, ATM and a petrol station 5 min away from the house. A few family owned tavernas also 5 min walk - delicious food and warm people. Wine tasting (5 min away from the house, would recommend! There is parking outside the house (super narrow street for the driver in me) but also a massive car park 2 min away, safe and convenient. Windy roads to get to the house, about 45 min from the airport. ALL beaches are about 45 min away, Lindos is about 1h away and the furthest beach - Prasonisi, took us 1h15 to get to. We loved staying in the village, it was quiet, everyone was welcoming. Some roads are narrow, some are wider, all through pine forests and wonderful scenery. All roads are quiet compared to main coast routes.

Absolutely nothing. The stairs to the beds take some getting used to but nothing to complain about. We loved it, but people should know the village is high up in the island so getting to beaches takes up to 1h each way.
