Dimora Elle

The apartment is located in the central area, close to everything you might need. The port is just around the corner, so it was easy to find the building after leaving the ferry. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spacious and very clean. The bathroom is also very nice. The bed is big and super comfortable. The kitchen is small but very well designed and equipped. There is a coffee machine with capsules. We enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the balcony, admiring the main street. We only stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly surprised that the cleaning was done between those two nights. We did not meet the cleaning lady, but our make-up was fully organized in the bathroom after the cleaning, which was a really nice touch. The communication with the hosts was great, they responded quickly to our messages and gave us some great tips on what to see. There is a bus station near the apartment where you can take a bus to Caprera Island, which we recommend. There are a lot of restaurants around the building with nice music in the evening, so we could enjoy the music while having dinner at home. We also recommend the wine bar next to the entrance of the building. We would definitely love to visit La Maddalena island again and stay at this apartment, where we felt at home.

The building is older (in the central are) so the stairs are a little bit steep but we liked the old building charm, so it was not a problem for us.

Beautifully appointed with quality fittings. A central location near the harbour. Excellent communication from the owner made access easy.

Noise!! The down side of the central location is a number of bars in the street, one playing very loud live music way past midnight - you’ve been warned. To be fair, the property owners have done all they can to limit the impact with excellent windows and shutters. Also parking access to drop bags is problematic.

Very high standard and convenient location.

Stunning apartment! the owners daughter greeted us and was so welcoming and gave us lots of good tips and recommendations for our stay. The place is completely modern and there was a huge amount of thought and care put into the design, facilities and look and feel. A mini kitchen with everything you would need for a longer stay and a gorgeous large bathroom with a great shower. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The noise at night. The accommodation sits right beside a bar that has live music each night. I must have missed this in previous review when researching. It went on till 1am. The owner told us this when we arrived and said they have done everything in their power to insulate the apartment. I totally believed her as the place was completely modern with everything up to date and in pristine condition. Aside from that the room was perfect, but I would not reccomend for young families or older people. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday, so during the week could be different. There is also no parking, which they told us beforehand. There is free parking at the post office on the port, but it is a 10 minute walk so just worth noting in the summertime with luggage.

The apartment is newly refurbished with modern finishing touches and functional design. Loved the central location and accessibility. Marta, our host, was absolutely adorable- she was very enthusiastic and communicative throughout the duration of our stay. Flat gets cleaned and topped up with toiletries up every day if need be. Balconies are very useful for drying up stuff and having a nice an cosy nibble and drink. We would happily recommend this property- thank you for accommodating us! Hope to see you soon.🤗😘

Noise levels can be very high on some nights due to proximity to local bars and restaurants. However hosts is offering ear plugs to help with this, which I found very helpful, but keep in mind if travelling with sleep sensible people.

We loved Dimore Elle. The hosts were fantastic and gave us great information about the islands. The room far exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect.
