Coorie View

Coorie View was a perfect base for exploring the lower portion of Skye but if you don't mind driving a bit then you're still well situated to explore upwards. The property is very thoughtfully laid out and really feels like a home away from home. Even having the outdoor shelter to park the car was a small luxury given the wet weather of December. Incredibly spacious and fantastic for dogs, our dog Coby was extremely content 🐾.

The property was excellent and far beyond what we really needed, but given its location and the boxes it ticked for us, it was a no brainer to book!

The house was well situated for the places we wanted to visit on Skye. The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. The lounge, in particular was perfect for relaxing in after a day out walking. We will return!

As soon as we arrived after our long drive we felt instantly relaxed. The tiny home is so cosy and the attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. The bed is super comfy and the facilities were perfect to make some dinner and have a cup of tea and a chat on the comfy sofa. It felt very romantic and we would highly recommend staying here. The area is beautiful and the home is tucked away and peaceful. We went for a lovely scenic walk. It was perfect :)

Coorie View was really well kitted out and felt very spacious — the three bedrooms gave us plenty of room, and it was more than comfortable for everyone (including our two dogs!). Having both a washing machine and dryer was fantastic, and we loved the traditional drying rack in the kitchen too. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially in the evenings. Everything was spotless and tidy, with a simple but homely feel. There was ample parking for three cars and a lovely, spacious garden — perfect for the dogs to have a run around. We also met Ruaridh, the host, a few days into our stay — he was great, and it was lovely to hear the story behind the house. You can really tell it’s been created with care.

Lovely living space and well equipped kitchen

This place needs an extra bathroom or at least a separate toilet then it would be perfect. Booking.com description and pictures made it seem as though there was a separate toilet.

There was only one room in the garden, so I felt very free feeling.
