The apartment was clean

It is a little hard to get there when the busses in Amalfi come and go whenever they want. But it was easier to get to the town from the apartment.

Great local neighbourhood with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The host met us with the keys and helped us find a free car park for our stay.

After midnight the buses no longer run so it is either a fairly long hike up the steps or an expensive taxi ride to get to the accomodation.

We immensely enjoyed our stay at La Lucciola. Marisol was extremely helpful and attentive since the moment of our arrival until check out. She gave us clear instructions on how to get to the villa. It was super easy via a public bus, which runs almost every 30mins during the day. Her friend greeted us at the bus station in Pogerola for check-in and helped us with renting a scooter, which was at our door step the very next morning. From the bus station to the apartment, it is mostly flat so no need to walk a lot or climb many steps, that is usually the case for many properties on Amalfi Coast. The house is equipped with everything you might need: coffee, snacks, shampoo and even ingredients for mixing a limoncello as well as kitchen utilities to cook stuff. Wifi works fine. There is a terrace upstairs where you can enjoy some afternoon drinks with the views of the sea and the mountains. There is a small market right next door as well as a pub and a beautiful restaurant right around the corner. We would definitely stay here if we were to return to Amalfi!

Breakfast choices not good. Not many cooking utensils/equipment to make meals. Room and bed linen felt damp. We later saw a large damp patch on one of the walls near to the bed.

The apartment is clean, well renovated, quite spacious.

When we arrived at the apartment in the evening, it was terribly cold there, the air conditioner was turned off, we immediately turned it on, but it took him 24 hours to warm up the apartment more or less. The towels in the shower were damp which is not normal. Blankets without duvet covers. There is no breakfast, only milk and drinks in the fridge, and some buns and cookies. It is possible to make espresso, but no kettle and tea. We didn't get a decent breakfast. The floor is terribly cold, there are no slippers, it is impossible to walk. The apartments are not located in Amalfi, to Amalfi either by bus which runs once an hour or by walking down the stairs 6 km. The staff promised to answer all our questions, but did not answer us 24 hours and did not solve our problems. We are frustrated, sick and this apartment ruined our holiday.
