Cedar Lodge

A lovely little homely cottage just outside Oban. Very clean with all the facilities you could possibly need and a no- nonsense check in/check out process.

We liked everything about this property it was beautiful.

ideal location

Cedar Lodge is a cute house with nice cosy interior. It is about 10 minutes ride from the center of the Oban. It has nice garden view. We feel like at home. It was local heating in rooms, which make them warm pretty quickly. We enjoy our stay here. I recommand walks in Ganavan Sands - there is a large land beach 13 min from the house.

There is no sea view there even it is pretty close to the sea. (I dont know why I expected it, I thought it was mentioned somewhere in the description). The position of the house on Booking map is not correct. The entryway to its plot is from A85. The stuff informed us before arrival.

Some of the items in the kitchen need to be replaced e.g. mugs for 6 people etc. overall this did not distract from a lovely stay.

huge garden and handy location. had everything you needed. ideal for 4 adults and 2 children.

shower head wouldn't stay up. a second toilet would have been appreciated. 6 people and only one bathroom was a little awkward at times.
