We were hiking on the Coastal Path, and our stay at Hen Ffermdy was in every regard the most wonderful stay. The room was lovely, the bathroom spotless and the breakfast the best we had in 2 weeks. Most importantly, Sue and Adrian are wonderful hosts, making us feel like guests rather than tourists.

Breakfast was good and freshly cooked to order by our hosts Adrian & Sue who were very friendly and more than willing to advise on places to visit & eating out in the evening. The property which used to be a derelict farm house is located in a quiet location & has been excellently renovated I stayed with friends and our rooms overlooked the duck pond and all around were signs of rewilding like tree planting and nesting sites for birds and bats I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The location was perfect- in a beautiful rural area, so quiet and full of wild life and nature. The house itself was perfect and so welcoming. The lovely couple who own it have done a wonderful job of upgrading the premises, whilst keeping true to the original features and character. There was an incredible range of books and board games for guests to use. However, the best thing was the hosts themselves - welcoming and interesting people who are sensitive to the environment and the local area. An amazing place to stay!!!

"Wonderful hosts"

Adrian and Sue were so accommodating. We had a late sailing from Ireland that was delayed even further. Our room was lovely and comfy and the bed so welcoming. A lovely place to stay and exceptionally clean and homely.

The separate bathroom and the steps from bedroom to bathroom, especially in dead of night.
