"Cute retreat with exceptional host"

From the start communication was friendly, clear and informative. Upon arrival in torrential rain our host Peter greeted us and welcomed us in, offering to help unload the car. The property is super cute and exceptionally clean and perfectly located for our weekend celebrations. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area

Olde world charm

It was raining when we arrived, the stone staircase was slippery, would benefit with some type of grip on them.

"Lovely peaceful setting and very nice host."

The location of the Cider Press within the farm area was lovely, with views across an ancient pond (you can walk around) and pet pigs, miniature goats and a sheep! There's also a wonderful long view to Hay Bluff in the Black Mountains and rolling hills all around. The view up - to the stars (!) - was dazzling! Inside was cosy, comfortable and spacious, with good kitchen and some lovely artworks on the walls. Helpful hint for Monday night visitors: before we arrived we checked with the host if we'd be able to find a pub or restaurant with food nearby open on a Monday night, and he told us told we'd probably need to go into Hereford, it's not too far, but we knew we'd be tired and wouldn't want to go out again once we'd arrived, so on the way we bought a ready-made meal in a supermarket (and a bottle of wine!) so made use of the kitchen and had a comfortable, budget evening in!

We didn't have time to stay longer!

Beautiful location, amazing views, clean & well equipped, comfy beds. Welcoming hosts and with the added bonus of the tame piggies and Pygmy goats! Super place - will return.
