Would have liked a sofa

Very modern, clean and spacious. Excellent mattress ( very comfy). Well stocked with everything needed for a self catering stay. Area is a quiet, modern estate .

No WiFi password, an easy fix. Tv had no sound ( missing speakers?) very difficult to find if your satnav not updated. Could provide a map. Did not impact me much as only there one night.

- parking for one car in front of the property and if you have additional cars they can be parked in a lay by opposite the studio - extremely clean inside - bed was very comfortable, I think it was a memory foam mattress - smart tv with streaming platforms like prime & Netflix & bbc iplayer already had guest accounts for us to use - wifi provided - ambient lighting and electric fire place was a nice touch, could even turn the electric fire place on without any heat to make it feel cosy - kitchen with big fridge, freezer, microwave, plenty of plates and metal cutlery, sink and washing machine was good - bathroom with provided body wash & shampoo & conditioner was perfect incase you forgot to pack it, shower had decent pressure as well - really nice minimalist modern interior design if that’s your taste - nice bar of chocolate and a book provided on the table upon your arrival, really nice touch - surround sound for the tv had speakers in other rooms, could hear tv or stream music from tv throughout every room - well priced, similar to big name hotels in terms of pricing but get so much more and support someone’s little business

The wifi wasn’t the fastest so if you were streaming YouTube etc on the tv the quality did drop a bit but not the end of the world!

Ample parking, directly outside the door, which was very handy for bringing your bags in. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was perfect and had complimentary body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the shower which is a nice touch. We liked that it has a small kitchen and dining area so we could bring our own food. We brought our airfyer from home, so we used that for cooking, but there is a double hob, microwave and kettle for you to use. The only things I would have liked is a small chopping board, and a draining mat as the sink only had a really tiny place to put washed pots. Heating was good, once we figured it out, but it would have been great if we had something to explain how things like the radiator and fireplace worked without having to fiddle.

There was nothing that I really disliked, but there were a couple of niggles. Check in was a bit confusing, as I had a passcode in the app that wasn't actually the code for the key box. What I realised after the stay is that another email had been sent that had the up to date code and wi-fi details, but I hadn't seen it before we left on our trip. There is a television, but unfortunately, even though it was the same make as our own TV, we couldn't get the sound to work (I think it may need a soundbar), but we had brought a tablet, so used that with the free wi-fi. I would have mentioned it in the morning if I had been staying longer, but we had to leave early so didn't get the chance. There are a couple of very low chairs facing the TV - one was sort of long lounger style, the other a beach style low chair. They were both very comfy, but if you have any issues with mobility you will struggle to get back up. I think it would be better to put a small sofa there instead, possibly with a pull out bed in so the owners could offer it to families too. Lastly a small bedside lamp near the bed would be great as the only light switches we could find were on the opposite end of the room, and because of the blackout curtains I had to use my phone light to get back to the bed.

Very cosy and very comfortable, a great use of space (garage conversion). Exceptionally clean.
