Summer Cave

Unfortunately, this property falls short in every aspect. The description they provide is full of inaccuracies, with some things that they claim to include being absolutely outrageous- such as an electric car charging point. They do not have wifi, they overcharged us for a meal provided at the property, the man who owns the property knocked on the door multiple times unnecessarily (two of which were just to tell us that he was going to work at his other job), there is a large hole in the window in the main room, which allows mosquitos in all day long, a rat climbed through the same hole in the window and was hiding in the air conditioning unit for multiple hours whilst we were sleeping (to which the owner responded that it happens a lot in his other rooms too), and upon arrival at the property (which took a while since they provide the wrong location on the map and another local person had to call them for us), we told the owner that we were going to go and get bug spray, he then pressured us to go with him in his Tuktuk and drove us directly to an overpriced tourist trap spice garden- which we had absolutely no interest in going to and the guy who took us around the garden insisted that we tipped him at the end. This is along with multiple other negative occurrences at the property. On the up side, the owner did offer to drive us to the train station for free. They do obviously mean well, but we would not have chosen to stay here if the description of the property had been accurate.
