This was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve ever had, and I feel it’s important to warn others. From the start, the experience felt untrustworthy. We were asked to pay through an external link, which raised concerns, and I had to contact Booking.com to make sure it was safe. Then, we were told we had to pay a €50 deposit, which would be refunded after our stay. Unfortunately, the host never returned it. He claimed we broke a kitchen cabinet handle – something we absolutely deny. We didn’t even use that cabinet! It's hard to imagine how you could break a handle in just three days unless you were hanging on it. It honestly seems like the host was just looking for an excuse not to return the deposit. It’s his word against ours, and that puts guests in a very unfair position. I’ve contacted Booking.com to investigate, but I feel other travelers should know: do not trust this host blindly. Even if you do nothing wrong, they might still accuse you of damage just to keep your deposit. On top of that, there were many other issues: – There were three of us, but only two duvets were prepared. – The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. – Kitchen chair covers were stained. – Balcony doors were difficult to open. – The bathroom mirror light didn’t work. – The bathroom door lock was broken. – There was no hot water until we contacted the host, who then told us to turn on some switch ourselves – this information wasn’t given in advance, and we had to wait nearly an hour for hot water. There were also a lot of strict rules and instructions, as if we were staying in a luxury apartment – when in reality, the condition of the place was far from that. If cabinet handles are falling off, it says enough. Be especially cautious with this property and host. There is a real risk that your deposit will not be returned, even if you didn’t cause any damage.

There is a lift in the property. There is a supermarket nearby and you are near to the main road where you can catch the tour bus and go on the tour boat. There are restaurants on the main street and a swimming pool. The apartment is spacious and the bed is comfortable.

I didn't like the customer service! I was unable to enter the property due to problems with the key lock and was advice by the owner to ask a local to open the door - I thought this was a security risk as foreigner. The owner's response was "what do you want me to do about it?" My answer is to actually get in to the property. Too many house rules! On there it talked about going over the electricity limit & they leave the TV on, he said it was more welcoming, I personally think it's a waste of electricity and doesn't make sense to leave on. Cleaning is not included in the first price you see, the cleaning is for after you leave and I am expected to take the rubbish out. You have to be conscious that you might stain anything with make up. I saw that all the mugs were chipped. Was not able to go on to the balcony where they had seats as it was locked.
