Nette Lage im Ortskern, 2 hübsche Räume: Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer. Die nahegelegene Taverne ist super. Freundliche Nachbarschaft. Die Unterkunft liegt versteckt an einem Fußweg. Eine freundliche Nachbarin hat uns den Weg gezeigt und den Job der Vermieterin übernommen. Keine Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus. Der Ort hat kein Lebensmittelgeschäft deshalb der Tipp: Frühstück vorher einkaufen!

Der Ort hat viele streunende Hunde. Da kann der Vermieter nichts für, aber auf der Terrasse war es unerträglich laut vom dauernden Gebell eines und teils mehrerer herrenloser Hunde und zwar durchgehend den ganzen Nachmittag. Die versprochene Idylle und Ruhe konnten wir so nicht genießen.

We made a small stop while visiting East Crete and the only thing we regret is that we didn't stay longer. A charming place (fully renovated) with everything you need to to feel like home. The highlight of our day was our afternoon coffee at the terrace enjoying the view. The location is great base if you choose to explore the area as it's very close to Koutsouras, Makri Gialos, Ierapetra and many must go places. TIP: Stavrochori village is a traditional Cretan village that gives you the opportunity to connect with the local culture and food! Don't forget to try the local tavern which is only a few metres away from the house.
